Use the arrow keys or WASD to slide every tile in one direction. On a touch device, swipe across the board.
- Each move pushes every tile as far as it can go and spawns a new 2 (or, occasionally, a 4).
- Two tiles of the same value merge into one tile of double the value. A tile can only merge once per move.
- The merged value is added to your score. Best score is kept on this device.
- Reach the 2048 tile to win — you can keep playing for higher tiles after that.
- If no slide changes the board, the game is over.
